Who we are

Hi! I’m Neg, the founder of Community Table. 

I believe in family, friendship and community as the foundation of good health and a life well lived. I have a small team of people I’d call family who help me with this app and the basis of our company is built on the word : integrity.

So much had happened in my life in a short amount of time and I had  changed, and I wanted to add more people to the growing person I was becoming. So Community Table was born.

In its most simplified form community table is a social media platform where users can create, explore, join forums, events, clubs, and even create “open” tables where local  community members who have similar interest can meet for bites to eat, hikes to go on, the works. 

Virtual tables are available for individuals who are looking to make friends virtually or who don’t feel ready to meet in person.

Safety and integrity are the foundation to community table.

I have a background in psychology and understanding people is a passion of mine. I believe when we look to understand an individual and how they relate to the world outside of themselves we can often find roots that stem from how safe they felt. 

Community table users are not anonymous. Real connection is built in the vulnerability of being yourself. (which is hard to do!)

My desire for community table isn’t to just be another niche app but to be a foundational place where individuals can use social media the way it was intended to be used.  To connect, not observe.
